WELCOME Join Us For Worship This Sunday! Mars Hill Community Church is an independent non-denominational Bible church. We are resolutely focused on investing our lives in sharing Jesus Christ and growing His followers. We invite you to come engage in life-giving community, transformational Bible study, and kingdom focused ministry. Our weekly services last about 75 minutes. We believe the Bible is God's word to us and therefore we highly value being Biblically centered across our ministries. Our sermons will be a mix of expository and topical teaching but always founded on God's inerrant Word. We endeavor to sing songs that direct our minds to biblical truth in a distinctly contemporary style, led by our worship team. Our dress is casual and we hope you will plan to hang around after the service for fellowship. NEXT STEPS 01 Contact Form Fill out this contact form so we can be expecting your arrival on Sunday! We want to meet you and your family! 02 Come to the welcome desk in the lobby When you visit Mars Hill, check in with one of our greeters so that we can meet you and show you around! 03 Get Connected If you enjoyed your visit, we would love for you to get connected in our church body! Segue is the best opportunity for you to meet our pastoral staff and ask questions about Mars Hill. Segue is a one-time event that provides prospective members the opportunity to hear staff and elders articulate the history, beliefs, and core values of the church. We offer regular Segue events throughout the year. Click the link below to register for the next Segue. Register for Segue
- GIFT OFFERING | MHCC
2024 Gift Offering December 3, 2024 Dear Mars Hill Family, One of Mars Hill’s best traditions is to give/receive a special offering at Christmas. We call it the “Gift Offering” (GO ). In light of God’s “over the top” gift to us in His Son, Jesus, we want to offer an “over and above” gift to His work on earth. We want this “offering” to be a special act of worship, a sacrificial gift above and beyond normal tithes and offerings. The GO gives us a very practical way to live out our commitment to being C ourageously G enerous. Every year we designate a specific use for the GO . This year we want the GO to be used to go towards the costs of our new building (“The Lodge”) and site development, and which will enable us to provide the additional group discipleship and ministry space we so desperately need right now. As we shared during our annual Marshillapalooza meeting this past summer—through the grace of God and the generosity of His people—we will pay off the remaining $545,000 we owe on our property and facilities, renew/redo our parking lot and provide 5,000 square feet of additional space in “The Lodge”. Also, ten percent of all that is given to the GO , will be dedicated to global missions. Our GO goal is that we will not incur any new debt for the completion of this project in early Spring 2025. If we reach our goal, we will not only continue building the great work He is doing among us right now but also be in a healthy financial position to be able to respond to whatever He is leading us to pursue in the future. The procedures for the gift offering are simple: Each individual and/or family should treat this as a spiritual and personal exercise of worship—praying, thanking God for the greatest gift—Jesus—and asking God to use our financial gifts to bring many people to know Him. Ask God how much He wants you to give for this “over the top” gift to His work. When you’re ready, before or after any service (December 8, 15, 22, or 24) come in a spirit of prayer together to the manger set up on the stage and put your gift offering in. We have special Gift Offering envelopes available for your use in the lobby or you can give online using this link: Gift Offering Investing our lives in sharing Jesus Christ and growing His followers, Tom Gray Senior Pastor Give Now All gifts must be received or post-marked by December 31, 2024 to count for 2024 contributions.

- OUR TEAM | MHCC
Meet The Team Mars Hill Community Church is guided by our Staff, guarded by our Elders and gifted by our Congregation. What this means in practicality is that our staff is responsible for communicating vision within their areas of responsibility, developing ministry plans to support that vision and managing the ongoing tasks within their roles. Our Elders have four primary areas of responsibility: guarding our vision and doctrine, financial oversight, church discipline and pastor accountability. Leadership at Mars Hill is not exclusive to the staff and elders. Our congregation is made up of a wide variety of men, women and students who lead and serve along with the staff and elders to make up the Body of Christ, which is the church. - COLIN WELCH - PARIS | MHCC
Colin Welch - Paris, France In 1905 the French government passed a law called La Laïcité. This was the beginning of the official separation of church and state. Though it was first presented as a “neutral position” on religion, it has resulted in an anti-religious mindset, growing to the point that part of the French identity is to be non-religious. Currently, France is ranked the 7th most atheistic country in the world—only 1.2% claim to be Evangelical Christians. Colin is serving in Paris, France with EFCA ReachGlobal in arts ministry, focusing on using art as a bridge to share the Gospel through relationships with artists. His vision is to see the healing of the disconnect between Christ and culture through the lives and work of artists. Website Donate
