Forming Students who hear and do God's Word. (James 1:22)

This is a place where students and leaders gather together to dive into God’s Word together on a weekly basis, as we strive to be more like Christ and point others to Him. It is our desire to help middle and high school students become well equipped in being able to live a life worthy of the calling God has given each one of us. Our desire is to raise up the next generation of leaders that will advance God’s kingdom, no matter their career choice or platform!

Summer Programming

During the summer, all rising 6th through recently graduated 12th grade students are invited to join us for MIDWEEK, on Wednesday evenings, from 6:30 - 8:30 PM for a time of food, games, worship, Bible study and small groups. We meet in the Basement (located under the main worship center) and would love for you to join us!

Pizza & soda is available for $1 each.

MIDWEEK 2025 will meet on the following Wednesday evenings over the summer:

6/4, 6/18, 7/9, 7/21, 7/23, and 7/30

Monday Afternoons

All students are invited to join us on Monday afternoons in July, we'll meet at Lost Mountain Park, 1 - 3 PM for some summer fun in the sun. Make sure to bring a water bottle!

Check the MHS instagram on Monday mornings to see what field we'll be at.

Thursday Afternoons

On Thursday afternoons in July, rising 9th - 12th graders are invited to join us for a High School bible study at Mars Hill. We'll meet in the Basement, 1:30 - 3:00 PM

We'll be studying 1 & 2 Peter using "A Field Guide to 1st & 2nd Peter" by Ethan & Diane Jago

Friday Nights

All students are invited to join us on Fridays in July for some summer fun! Each Friday will have a different theme/event which is TBD. We'll meet at Mars Hill 6:30 - 8:30!

We'll meet for Friday Nights on the following Fridays:

7/11, 7/18, and 7/25.

Michael Pleasant

Mail

Michael has served as our Student Pastor since June of 2023. A graduate from Liberty University, Michael studied Church Ministry with a focus in Theology and Apologetics. Michael loves leading students in their walks with Christ, encouraging them to know why they believe what they believe.

Katie Dunn

Mail

Katie has been on staff with Mars Hill Students since 2021. She loves encouraging students to read God's Word and study it for themselves. She has a passion for students to know their Savior on a deep and intimate level.

Small Group Leaders

Our group of small group leaders serve weekly to encourage and lead their students. They serve with grace, diligence and fun. Our leaders follow their group from 6th - 12th grade ensuring they build deep and meaningful relationships with their students.

All volunteers are 18+ and background checked to ensure a safe environment for our students.
