Relationships with other people are a vital part of life that we all desire to have. There is something encouraging about living with others and not having to live it alone. The best way to get connected is by making a few good friends and at MHCC there are plenty of opportunities to do so.
 
Small Groups
 
Friendships develop through intentionally spending time with others. Small groups are a great way for you to meet and build friendships with others in the same or different stages of life as yourself. It is in small groups, where we have the opportunity to grow in our faith - together as we read, watch, study or discuss various topics from the Bible. They are great environments to encourage and challenge one another with real life application. These groups can also serve the basic need to have others care for and care about you and who are willing to "be there" for you and pray for you.
 
Some groups meet in homes, some meet in local hangout spots and some meet here at MHCC. There groups of all shapes and sizes for you to consider. Whatever your interest or desire might be, Couples, Men's, Women's or mixed, there is a group that is currently meeting that would love to have you check it out. Service Teams
 
Did you know that the Bible teaches that every person who has placed their faith in Jesus Christ as their Lord and Savior, has been gifted by God himself, to serve others in a way that will best utilize their passions and talents and also provide great fulfillment in their lives? This fact is a core value of MHCC. We believe the church is the people, and that there is no hierarchy system of importance for the work that God would have us accomplish. Every area of need in the church and the community can be met by people working together in teams. Through all of the individual efforts, be it children's ministry, youth, hospitality, music, teaching or helping, we are able to best be a community church that can really make a difference.
